Welcome Tom Ringhofer to the Sales Confidence team

It’s time to give a warm welcome to the newest member of the Sales Confidence sales team. It’s our new SDR, Tom Ringhofer.

One of the best things about running a growing business is when new people come to join you. It’s great getting to know our new starters better, finding out what makes them tick. I also love to introduce them to the Sales Confidence community. You’ll speak to them on the phone and meet them at our events; it’s only fair that you get to know them too.

Today, I want to introduce our newest SDR, Tom Ringhofer. Tom, or Ringo as everyone seems to call him, has already injected new life into the team with his enthusiasm and spirit. Let’s find out more about him.

Meet Tom

Hi Tom. Welcome to Sales Confidence. Tell us a little bit about how you came to work with us?

For the last six months, I’d been working on a construction site. A friend tagged me on a post by Venatrix, and two days later, I went to their assessment day. I look better in a suit than a high-vis jacket!

Elaine from Venatrix told me that I’d be a good fit for James and Sales Confidence, and she made the introduction. Elaine said that I’m confident and excitable — usually, there’s a ‘but’ after that!

The next day, I spoke to James. He also talked to my mum as well! He invited me to Sales Confidence’s company off-site in Richmond, and that was that.

Brilliant. How was your first week at Sales Confidence?

It was intense, but to be honest, it was good to use my brain again! I’ve really enjoyed learning new skills and speaking to new people. It’s been great getting to know the rest of the team as well.

It’s been a challenge to stay disciplined working at home with the lockdown, but I think I’m all set now. I still have the daily struggle of staying relatively sane!

I hear you. What are your plans for the future?

I have no idea what the future holds long-term, but I love it — I’ll just go with it and enjoy it.

I’m looking forward to developing my sales skills though, being the best I can be. I want to be the top guy on the team.

Aside from that, I want to move into London (I’m in Essex right now), buy a KTM Duke and a compound bow and arrow. I don’t ask much!

I also can’t wait for the Corona lockdown to be over so I can see a bit more of the world again. I’ve got some more city breaks in me.

Nice. Travelling is a big thing for you?

Definitely. When I was 19, I left England to work abroad for two and a half years. I came back for ten months and then travelled around Latin America for a few years.

After that, I lasted about a month back in England before I booked a spontaneous trip to NYC. I skipped my flight home and spent some time on the islands around Honduras instead, then I settled in Cancun for a year and a half! I got back last May, just in time to walk my sister down the aisle.

Actually, it’s not the ‘travelling’ that I love — it’s the strange, the unknown, the new. I love that, and I always will.

I’m also into MMA and beer!

How about you?

Thanks to Tom for sitting down for this chat. I can’t wait to see what you will achieve with us.
