29 May Welcome Joe Leonard to the Sales Confidence team
It’s time to give a warm welcome to the newest member of the Sales Confidence sales team. It’s our new videographer, Joe Leonard.
One of the best things about running a growing business is when new people come to join you. It’s great getting to know our new starters better, finding out what makes them tick. I also love to introduce them to the Sales Confidence community. You’ll speak to them on the phone and meet them at our events; it’s only fair that you get to know them too.
Today, I want to introduce our new videographer, Joe Leonard. We’re going all-in on video for 2020, and Joe is going to bring it to life. Let’s find out more about him.
Hi Joe. Welcome to Sales Confidence. Tell us a little bit about how you came to work with us?
I’ve been a videographer and editor for almost ten years now. I’ve worked all over the world: Bristol, the US, Vietnam. For about three years, I was living in Auckland, New Zealand, working for Unfiltered, making the world’s best business advice videos.
Now I’m back in the UK, and I wanted to join a growing and ambitious company where my skills would be useful — Sales Confidence definitely fits the bill.
Brilliant. What was your first week at Sales Confidence like?
It was great. Of course, we’re in lockdown, so it was great to have something to do!
I like that I have responsibilities and that I’m trusted to get on with my work while I’m at home. That’s a real luxury.
It’s been great getting to know the rest of the team. I feel like I’ve known them for years already, and we haven’t even met in person yet!
I can’t wait to meet you in person either! What are your plans for the future with us?
I’ve got big plans. My mission is to help the world learn through video, and Sales Confidence is the ideal place to do that. I want to grow the video department so we can have constant streaming of knowledge for sales leaders.
We’ll be bigger than TED talks!
That’s the confidence I’m talking about! Thanks, Joe. What else should the Sales Confidence community know about you?
Outside of work, I’ve got a lot going on. I like gaming. I do abstract painting. I also love rock climbing when I get the chance.
I’m also a big comedy nerd. I’ve been to watch lots of TV and Radio 4 comedy shows being recorded. Now I’m in London, that’s something I want to do much more often.
How about you?
Thanks to Joe for sitting down for this chat. I can’t wait to see what you will achieve with us.
