I sat down with Elaine for a chat to find out her views on sales, leadership and her excitement at partnering up with Sales Confidence.
‘What I love about Venatrix is that we open up a career path to people who hadn’t thought about sales before. We capture their attention. We don’t show them a job. We show them a profession.’
‘The great thing about sales is that it takes people from all levels of education, all walks of life and gives them an opportunity. When people invest in themselves and open themselves up to learn, they can achieve a 6-figure income.’
This is a view I totally subscribe to. During my time in sales, you meet the most interesting people from every background you can think of. Sales creates a level playing field where you get out what you put in. I love it!
Being a leader of a team of 10, Elaine has strong views on leadership.
‘You have to be a great listener. You have to pick up on the sentiments of your team when making decisions. But, you also have to follow your instincts. Know your own mind. You’re the leader for a reason.’
Sharing SaaS sales knowledge in London
For Elaine, the partnership between Venatrix and Sales Confidence is about much more than boosting her brand.
‘I’ve been to many Sales Confidence events. They’re great in a way that they allow anyone to listen to successful people. But it’s authentic. Sure, we share our intelligence and success stories, but we also share our failures. It creates an inspiring opportunity.’
