One of the things SalesLoft does that sets them apart is the annual Rainmaker sales conference in Atlanta. I was lucky enough to be there this year and I can tell you, there’s nothing like it. I picked up so many golden nuggets and met so many stars of the industry. Not only that, I learned a few secrets that I’ll be putting into effect at SaaSGrowth this summer!

Meet Ollie and Sean

Sean Murray and Ollie Sharp are SalesLoft’s top sales leaders. Sean is the CRO and Ollie is the VP of Revenue for the EMEA region. They are two of the absolute pioneers in this industry, so it was great to sit down with them to seal our partnership.

Sean is based in the States and has had a long career in technology sales. He made his name at CEB (now Gartner) and was also VP of Global Sales at Xactly. He’s a great coach and mentor; I know many people who have dramatically improved their game while working with Sean.

Ollie is over here in London. Like me, he’s a veteran of the recruitment industry and LinkedIn, so we always have a lot to talk about when we see each other.

What’s great about the guys at SalesLoft is that they are a tech platform, but they know it’s still about the person behind the tech. When so many of today’s tech tools look the same and perform the same jobs, the skill, personality, professionalism and conversation of a salesperson make all the difference.

It’s a pleasure to welcome Sean, Ollie and SalesLoft into the Sales Confidence community. I hope we can share knowledge to develop new ways of putting our customers first, which is of course, the most essential aspect of success in sales. I know the new salespeople in the Sales Confidence community can learn a lot from the way SalesLoft do things.
