Let’s meet another brilliant new partner for the Sales Confidence community. It’s time to find out more about Gong.
One of the things I love most about running Sales Confidence is working with our partners – world-class sales tech companies that have the interests of salespeople at heart. Some of the fantastic partners we have on board include Salesloft, MindTickle, Varicent and Cognism. Today, it’s time to welcome a new partner to the community – Gong.
I’m delighted to announce our new partnership with Gong and their Senior Director of Marketing, Russell Banzon. After talking to Russell and his colleagues at Gong, it’s clear that there’s a massive synergy between what they do and what we do. By linking up in this way, we can bring huge value to you, the Sales Confidence community member.
What is Gong?
Let’s be honest. You probably know Gong already. But just in case you don’t, here goes.
Gong is a platform that gives sales leaders unfiltered visibility into what’s happening with their sales team, their deals and their market. It’s true revenue intelligence. Here’s how it works:
- Capture – customer interactions across calls, meetings and emails
- Understand – what is being said during those interactions
- Deliver – real-time insights and recommended actions to help win more deals
Gong links sales behaviours to winning outcomes to pinpoint the areas where salespeople can improve.
What I love about Gong is that it proves that automation doesn’t have to be scary. Tech isn’t here to replace salespeople; it’s here to help salespeople focus on what they love – their prospects and customers.
With a platform like Gong in your stack, salespeople can spend more time selling and less time on data entry. Sounds good to me!
The company’s new global office will be based in Dublin, led by Gong’s new Vice President of EMEA, Wendy Harris.
Wendy brings a wealth of technology sales management experience to the role. Before joining Gong, Wendy led European sales at CarGurus for three years and prior to that, she was the head of EMEA enterprise sales at Dropbox. She also spent over a decade working in financial services for Goldman Sachs. This year, Wendy plans to hire at least 20 employees in Dublin in a variety of go-to-market roles including sales and customer success.
I can’t wait to introduce Wendy at a Sales Confidence event as soon as possible.
Synergy with Sales Confidence
I’m so excited about this partnership because there’s such a massive overlap between the philosophies of Sales Confidence and Gong.
Gong is all about making salespeople better and more productive. Plus, they grew their business by putting on spectacular events and producing authentic, straight-down-the-line content – just like Sales Confidence.
Oh, and they definitely know how to throw a party!
