21 Oct How does Sales Confidence plan to elevate the sales profession?
At Sales Confidence, we’ve got big plans for the future. Let me tell you about some of them.
It’s over two years since I founded Sales Confidence. A lot has happened since then. We’ve staged dozens of fantastic evening events, put on two all-day #SaaSGrowth conferences and published more than 270 articles just like this one.
However, we’re not finished yet and we’ve got massive plans for the future. I want to make Sales Confidence the world’s largest sales community. But what does that mean for you as someone working in SaaS sales? In this article, I want to explain how I plan to make Sales Confidence something that elevates the sales profession.
Sales is everything
Obviously, I’m a sales fanatic. I think it’s one of the most valuable professions in the world. I think that to be great at sales, you need a combination of so many skills, plus a high-performance mindset. I also believe that it’s an underrated profession. Some people think of salespeople as fast-talking smooth operators. They don’t understand the skill and science involved. They also don’t appreciate that if you don’t make sales, you don’t have a business.
I want to change that perception.
Through our events, content and our new membership programme (coming soon!), we want to be able to take someone at the start of their sales career and help them at every stage of their development. We want to help them improve their skills, their performance, their mindset and wellbeing.
Events to remember
As we move into 2020, we’re going to carry on staging our wonderful events, except they’re going to be bigger and better.
We’re going to carry on tailoring the speakers and content at our events for different stages of the sales career. At the moment, we run exclusive events for:
· Individual contributors
· Sales leaders
The SDR events which we run in partnership with Venatrix have been a tremendous addition to what we do. We have a mix of SDRs and sales leaders speaking, but all content is tailored to SDRs and what they are looking for at the moment. We know that the 200+ SDRs that come to these events are the elite; the best of the best. They’re out learning, sharing insight and networking while their peers are at the pub or the gym.
In 2020, we plan to expand our events to other parts of the UK, Europe and the world. If you want to know when we’ll be landing in your city, visit our Sales Confidence Events page and register today.
Bigger and better content
As well as extending our events programme, we’re also going to be providing more value with our online content. I want Sales Confidence to be the destination for sales professionals around the world to find the answers they need around sales and confidence.
As we move into 2020, expect to see:
· More articles from practitioners
· Insights from Top 50 sales leaders
· Content from subject matter experts
We’re going to be expanding from sales into more mindset-related content too. We want to cover subjects such as:
· Public speaking
· Overcoming anxiety
· Building confidence
· Boosting your emotional intelligence
· Mental health and wellbeing
